About the Long Beach Chorale
Founded in 1988 by Mark Barville, the
Long Beach Chorale & Chamber
Orchestra has earned its reputation as
Long Beach's leading volunteer choral
ensemble through its energetic and artful
performances of a wide variety of
repertoire. The Long Beach Chorale is
equally at home singing the classics of
Western music and the musical gems of
cultures around the world.
Under the direction of Eliza Rubenstein
since 2003, the Chorale has continued
to expand its repertoire and to garner
high praise from audience members and
media alike.
